Things have been rather bustling here in woolly John Arbon Textiles land. It’s hard to believe it has already been a month since returning from Yarndale.
There have been lots of things keeping us busy…
Yarnporium (a brand new show) is fast approaching! It is this weekend! And we are busy preparing lots of yarn for you behind the scenes!
Yarnporium is a new show from the lovely ladies who organise The Great London Yarn Crawl. Find out more and buy tickets here. We are really excited to have a stand, especially as we are doing it in a brand new way … it will be Frankie’s first solo show.
We were lucky enough to visit Laurel again recently … she is a sock loving and rather beautiful fox terrier and belongs to some very dear friend of ours.
Laurel just loves socks so much, she snuffles them around and hides them in all sort of nooks and crannies of her home and then brings them out again when she feels the time is right.
When we last visited her she had been feeling a little under the weather so we decided to throw her a sock party!
Well, we can confirm she was absolutely thrilled and didn’t know quite what to do with herself in sock heaven…
Here are some fabulous photos of all the happiness and socktastic fun Laurel had!
We are busily preparing for the Great London Yarn Crawl – Pop-Up Market Place at the Old Chelsea town hall this weekend.
We will be exhibiting at the market place which kicks off the great crawl, before all you crafty adventures set off to wonder round some of London’s greatest yarn and haberdashery shops.
The market place is open exclusively to yarn crawlers, before being open to the general public (12noon til 7pm).
You can find more information about the Yarn Crawl and Pop-Up Market Place here. Details of all the exhibitors and info about which crawls will visit where. Should be a fab yarntastic day!
To get you tingling, here’s a bit of what we are bringing!
PLUS, a few new Tops! We love a surprise…
